Restore soils fertility & productivity

Biochar revitalizes overworked, compacted, and nonproductive soils by fostering a healthy soil biome. Its large surface area and porous structure enhances soil water-holding capacity, retains organic nutrients, and improves soil structure. By adsorbing nutrients and promoting beneficial microbial activity, biochar boosts soil fertility and productivity.

Reimbursements available through USDA NRCS 336 Soil Carbon Program

A new soil carbon program launched by the USDA/NRCS has been adopted to improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil through the application of biochar - farmers will be reimbursed for the application of up to four yards of biochar per acre. Decontaminant your soil

Biochar's porous structure and large surface area enable it to adsorb heavy metals such as lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), arsenic (As), zinc (Zn), and mercury (Hg). This immobilization reduces the pervasiveness of these metals, preventing them from leaching into groundwater and minimizing their uptake by plants. Additionally, biochar can adsorb various organic contaminants (such as insecticides and herbicides) by binding them to its surface. It has also shown significant promise in adsorbing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFOS and PFAS), persistent organic pollutants that are notoriously difficult to remove.
