Better Water Use

Biochar has the ability to ‘adsorb’, meaning it collects and holds onto water and nutrients, better than any other soil amendment. These qualities mean landscapers will need to use less water and fertelizer to acheive the same outcomes.

Reduced mortality

Using Biochar when planting new trees, laying down turf or in landscaping results in fewer tree and plant mortalities, healthier lawns, lower maintence costs, improved water use and nutrient conservation.

Boosting Urban Soils

Biochar works equally well in urban greening projects, decompacting soils in planters, medians and public spaces, creating stronger, more resilient urban trees, and capturing contaminants from (non-point-source) runoff.

Golf courses

Biochar is being used by golf course developers and managers to reduce water consumption, improve nutrient management, and to reduce the wash-through of contaminants and fertelizers into groundwater.

How can we help?
